Parc Fermé Insights is an independent analytics site for fans of the Formula racing championship. We aggregate timing data, race results, and championship standings from free, open sources, and we generate short-form predictive insights using Anthropic’s Claude. There is no scraping, no paywall, and no affiliation with any constructor or licensing body.

The name comes from the “closed park” rule that impounds the cars after qualifying. Once the session ends, nothing can be changed — everything that happens on Sunday is shaped by the decisions and form already in place. That is the spirit of the site: give you the data and the modeling that explain why the race is going to look the way it does, before the lights go out.

Where the data comes from

Live timing, telemetry, weather, and race-control feeds come from OpenF1. Historical results, standings, driver and constructor metadata, and the season calendar come from Jolpica-F1, the community-run successor to the Ergast API. Both projects are free and donation-funded; please consider supporting them if you find this site useful.

About the predictions

AI-generated predictions are framed as analytical insights, not betting tips. We publish our model’s historical hit rate transparently, and every prediction includes the model’s one-to-three-sentence reasoning so you can judge it on its own merits. We do not link to sportsbooks, do not embed live odds, and do not run a tipster service. See the Terms page for the legal framing.

Trademarks and affiliation

“Formula 1”, “F1”, and the F1 logo are registered trademarks of Formula One Licensing B.V. We deliberately avoid those marks. Driver photos and team logos are not redistributed — where you see a portrait, it is hot-linked from the data provider’s URL or rendered as a neutral silhouette.
